Oman: Hidden Holiday Country
If you are looking for somewhere unique and undiscovered to take a break at, then, Oman vacations are for you. It is not your average escape but it is exotic and historical. It has history dating all the way back to the stone-age. The deserts, high peaks, beaches, and forest areas are sure to give you several different choices for your Oman holidays.
The capital city of Muscat has much to offer for Oman vacations. There is a street market that offers opportunities to get your souvenirs and gives you a chance to mingle with the people of Oman. Muscat is not the only city that offers exciting oman travel. Two other popular cities are Sur and Salalah. In Sur you can sail on a boat to view the beautiful history of this dhow building town. Salalah is very interesting for Oman holidays because it offers things not typical of Oman travel. It offers a tropical climate, a retreat from the desert heat of other regions in Oman. Oman holidays are spent here by several people; during the monsoon season its population nearly doubles.
