Know Your Learning Style

We all learn a little bit differently. Some people learn better from books, for example, while others need to hear material from a live teacher. We also learn better at different times of the day – some in the morning and others at night. To learn most effectively then, you need to discover how you learn best and develop a learning style based on that.

Some self experimentation is called for. Try studying at different times, and in different places, for example, to see what suits you best. Use audio tapes and read books, and try explaining what you learn to others (the latter seems to be a great way for almost anyone to learn). Find routines that work well with your schedule and habits and inclinations.
