Workout? Bicep As a Result?
It’s typically thought that women never lifted weights until the whole weight lifting fad started in the 1980s. Not true! Women have been lifting weights since time immemorial -their babies! And its progressive weight lifting - they’d haul the little baby around until it became a toddler! So women have worked out for a long time…they just did it naturally. It’s a lot easier to have a workout bicep using inanimate weights than a squirming child, though!Weight training is an excellent way for women to stay fit. Using weights allows an individual to target specific muscle groups, or “problem areas.” Flabby underarms? Three months of doing tricep curls will tighten that skin right up. Flabby stomach? Situps with a 10-pound plate behind the head will fix that. (Of course…that has to be built up to!) Flabby thighs? Leg curls and leg extensions will firm and tone the muscle.
