Lose Weight Quickly Yet Safely
When we finally decide once and for all that we’re going to lose weight, impatience can set in quite quickly. We want the excess weight gone as fast as possible. However, in our quest for quick weight loss, we should be careful to not lose weight so quickly that we are not doing it safely. The quickest rate of weight loss that is safe is one to two pounds per week. A good rule of thumb to keep in mind is that 3500 calories equals one pound of weight. Therefore, if you cut 500 to 1000 calories per day, that will equal a one to two pound weight loss per week.
